People Clerk Mails Your Demand Letter

People Clerk sends a copy of your demand letter via USPS. You will receive a copy of the tracking number and we will let you know once the demand letter is received.

Sending a Copy of Your Demand Letter via Email 

You can also send a copy of your demand letter via email! You can find a copy of your signed demand letter in the People Clerk Portal.  

Make sure to save any responses you receive from the other party. It is also suggested you stick to written communication (email, letters, text messages) instead of verbal communication.

Here are a few template emails you can use when emailing your demand letter:

Attached please find a demand letter relating to __________. I would like to resolve this matter amicably and look forward to your response.

Dear ________:

Attached please find a demand letter relating to __________.  I would prefer to resolve this matter outside of court but if you do not respond, you leave me no alternative but to file a lawsuit against you.
